EvenDose Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-09-13

EvenDose is an iOS application published by Stakyo, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. This policy describes what the app does and does not do with your data. It is short because there is little to describe: EvenDose keeps your therapy data on your device.

1. Summary

  • EvenDose has no accounts. You do not register, sign in, or give us an email address.
  • Everything you enter — medication, dose, injection dates and sites, medication supply, weight, side effects — is stored only on your iPhone.
  • We do not operate a server that receives your therapy data. We cannot see it, and we cannot recover it for you.
  • Two third-party services receive limited, non-health data: Adapty (subscription processing) and PostHog (product analytics). Neither receives what you log in the app.
  • We do not sell personal information. We do not show advertising. We do not track you across other apps or websites.

2. Data stored on your device

The following data is created by you and stored in the app's local database on your device. It never leaves your device unless you export it yourself (for example, as a PDF report).

  • Medication name and current dose, with dose change history
  • Injection schedule: day of week and reminder time
  • Injection records: date, time, injection site
  • Medication supply (pens or doses remaining)
  • Weight entries and optional goal weight
  • Side-effect entries
  • App settings

The home-screen widget reads a snapshot of this data inside the app's own sandbox on the device. The estimated medication-level chart is calculated on the device from your records.

Because there is no account and no cloud service operated by us, deleting the app deletes this data. When you move to a new iPhone, the data transfers only through Apple's own mechanisms — iPhone-to-iPhone transfer or restoring from a full iCloud or computer backup — which are controlled by you and by Apple, not by us.

3. Data processed by third parties

Adapty — subscription processing

Purchases are made through Apple's App Store. Adapty processes the subscription status so the app knows whether access is active. It receives an anonymous app-user identifier, subscription and purchase events, device type, app version, locale, and the country of the App Store account. It does not receive your name, email address, or any data you log in the app. Apple handles payment details; we never see your card number.

PostHog — product analytics

We use PostHog to understand which screens are used and where people stop during setup, so that we can improve the app. It receives an anonymous app-user identifier, event names (for example "onboarding completed", "paywall shown"), device model, iOS version, app version, locale, and approximate country. It does not receive medication names, doses, injection records, weight, side effects, or any text you enter.

The anonymous identifier is the same for both services so that a purchase can be connected to the setup path of the same install. It is not linked to your identity.

Apple

Apple processes payments, manages subscriptions, and provides the App Store. Apple's handling of your data is described in Apple's privacy policy.

4. App Store privacy labels

In the App Store, EvenDose declares the data described in section 3 under "Data Not Linked to You", used for App Functionality and Analytics. No data is declared as "Used to Track You". Health data is declared as not collected, because it does not leave your device.

5. What we do not do

  • We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or address.
  • We do not collect health data on any server.
  • We do not use advertising SDKs, and we do not show ads.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share personal information for advertising.
  • We do not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.
  • We do not access your contacts, photos, location, or microphone.

6. Notifications

Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. They do not use a push server. Their content is generated on the device and is not sent anywhere.

7. Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you on our servers, most requests can be fulfilled by you directly: view your data in the app, edit or delete records in the app, or delete the app to erase everything.

For the limited anonymous data processed by Adapty and PostHog, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a paid app and improving it. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California, you may contact us to request access to or deletion of records associated with your anonymous identifier. We will pass the request to the relevant service.

8. Children

EvenDose is intended for adults using prescribed GLP-1 medication. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly process data about them.

9. Retention

Data on your device stays until you delete it or delete the app. Anonymous analytics and subscription events are retained by the respective service for as long as needed to operate subscriptions and understand app usage, and are deleted or anonymized when no longer needed.

10. Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is published at this address with an updated date. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
